神奈川県警察音楽隊は、昭和25年２月に日本吹奏楽発祥の地である横浜で発足しました。
音楽を通じて犯罪被害防止や交通安全等を呼び掛け、県民と警察を結ぶ「音のかけ橋」として多くの方とふれあいを深めております。
The Kanagawa Prefectural Police Music Corps was established in February 1950 in Yokohama, the birthplace of Japanese wind music.

また、昭和49年３月に全国の警察に先駆けて編成したカラーガードは、凛々しく統制の取れた演技とあふれる笑顔で広報活動の一翼を担い、県民の皆様に元気をお届けしています。
活動の幅は広く、県内各地での演奏活動をはじめ「定期演奏会」や「演奏とドリルの祭典」、毎月第三木曜日の「マリーンコンサート」等を開催するほか、YouTubeチャンネルを開設し動画配信も行っています。
